Lila Benton, a divorced, single mom, moves back to Oklahoma to open a burger joint much to her teenage daughter Jessica’s embarrassment. The day before the restaurant opens Lila’s troubles are multiplied by her ex-husband Jack, the airline pilot, by Jessica’s discovery of the itinerant cowboy Sam in Lila’s bed, by the FBI agent who’s in pursuit of Sam, and by her neighbor Sherry who falls for the FBI agent. All this before she can flip her first burger.
“It’s funny, poignant…The dialogue – snappy and crisp…a very enjoyable evening.
A ‘must see’ play.”
“Indicates talent on the part of first-time-out playwright. Dillen has created a couple of amusingly gonzo characters. It’s the weird details that telegraph dramaturgical talent.”

“ Dillen writes warmly and humorously.”
